Paducah's Greenway Trail
Noble Park (entrance above) 2801 Park Ave to Stuart Nelson Park
To say this little trail is beautiful doesn’t do it justice. Paducah Parks has produced a jewel!! (Due to Wetland rules, it’s not paved, but it's hard packed.) No matter-it’s a delight! We’re so love-struck with the place. Get on it behind the skatepark and ball fields at Paducah's Noble Park.
The Tunnel Hill Trail at Vienna, IL. Converted rail road tracks winds through forest and countryside. No motor vehicle traffic. No charge. Exit 16 off I-24 in IL. Just follow the signs.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Road Rides, was 6 PM, now 5:30 PM
Sponsored by Chain Reaction Cycling Club & 1025 Gallery
Evening Rides basically go during daylight savings time, when the number of riders dwindling as the days get shorter and it becomes harder to finish before dark.
Distances vary slightly depending on the day of week , but on each route, riders can chose between 3 lengths, the shortest is 12-14 miles; middle 20-25 miles and the longest 28-32 miles. All routes are marked. Riders with many different speed capabilities participate, so the group does not stay together. Everyone rides at their own pace. Nearly everyone ends up finding someone pedaling at about their speed. Directional arrows are marked on the roads. Some Route Maps posted here: www.crcc.net
